Hello! We are first time vacationers to St. John and can't wait. we have found availability at Lavender Hill. It's priced very reasonable and we will be there over the Holidays. Has anyone stayed there that could give us some feed back. Good or bad would be greatly appreciated!

never stayed there but appears to be decent cruz bay location if you're so inclined. butttt, it's appearance challenged and a god awful lavender color that probably glows in dark. if eyes aren't sensitive you may enjoy. me and my bride, we like the island corals, blues, and white's of our favorite villas which you can rent for about same price if you're staying for a week.

Thanks for your quick response. I was wondering about the name Lavender Hill? We will only be in St. John December 24/29th so we were limited on availability. Hopefully thsi will be a good trip and we will make future plans for a longer stay.
pickings probably very limited for this xmas. again never stayed at lavender hill, maybe wonderful. hang on surely someone has had experience with lav hill and will give you some input.
Hello! I have now stayed at EVERY condo at Lavender Hill. It is individually decorated, well equiped, quiet, within walking distance to Cruz Bay (as well as a little exercise walking home up the hill), and very professionally run. I have had great experience dealing with Gary (one of the owners) as well as Matt (oversees things in St. John) and am going there for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Go on their web site and view each and every condo and their features. Book and Enjoy!
Although we no longer stay at Lavender Hill anymore, we certainly have stayed in quite a few of the units and would go back without any hesitation.
It is a well run condo complex.
