Hello!

My fiance and I will be married at sunset on St. John May 3rd. We are looking for a GREAT restaurant to eat at afterwards (just the 2 of us). This is our 1st trip to the USVI.

Note: I do not eat shellfish! We are looking for good steaks, that sort of thing--maybe shellfish only as an appetizer for the fiance.

Any suggestions??

Many thanks! 🙂

PS: I looked on the posts but didn't find anything related. Hope I'm not duplicating posts....

OK, I looked some more and did find recommendations for Equator and Stone Terrace...

Any other suggestions? Of course, we want something romantic. 🙂

Thanks!

Beachgirl,

You have apparently decided on STJ after all, I thought from your one post you might be thinking of somewhere else.

Congrads. on the wedding, you have made a great choice.

A place to eat for just the two of you, there are many to pick from. Do you want it very quite and away from the Cruz Bay area, or are you looking for something with lots of actvity around it?

You will get many responses to this post I am sure, and everyone of them will be correct.

My choice would be the Equator, not real far out of town, but enough to avoid lots of traffic, the view is one of the best, and the staff will treat you like royalty, just let them know what you are celebrating.

Best of Luck

RM

Yes, quiet and romantic would be nice. We can always go someplace louder for drinks afterwards if we want. 🙂

Thanks for your reply.

Beachgirl,

you might also look at Turtle Bay Estate House @ Caneel Bay, it is very quite and they suggest it is their best. My wife & I have eaten there many of times and she agrees.

There is a dress code, check out their site.
