Help! St John:
1) does anyone have a row boat I can use till I find one of my own?
2) what is most economical way to get from San Juan to St. John?
(ferry appears extremely sporadic-?)
3) anyone have T-Mobile cell service?
4) are there Cirrus ATM machines on Isle?

Thank you in advance!

Regarding the row boat. Where do you plan on rowing? Not much rowing going on around here....except in kayaks.

Use one of the smaller airlines like Liat or American Eagle, Sun, etc. to get here from SJU. The ferry is only twice a week,I believe andI have never been on it.

T-Mobile is not offered here, but you can roam.

ATM's accept all of the major carriers, Cirrus included.

Ed,
your best bet is to go to Connections in Coral Bay and ask the girls there. Doubt you are going to find a tender to borrow ... there is a guy out there who sells used kayaks. That might be an option ...

Check with Alan at Coral Bay Marine. He might know of someone who has one to borrow or rent.

Hello Ed,

You will need to fly from San Juan to St. Thomas and then take a ferry to St. John. Thats really your only option. There is a ferry that runs twice a month and it is affected by demand. There are several air carriers; Seaplane, Cape Air, AA Eagle... compare prices and see if you can get a good deal.

There is an ATM at the Scotia bank on St. John in Cruz Bay. Not sure of other ATM locations. Any St. John residents know?

There are always dinghy's for sale in the Island Trader. If you call the Daily News and ask for the Circulation department, they will mail one to you for four dollars.
