Does anybody have any updated information regarding the legal issues at Sapphire Beach Resort? Are the restaurants going to reopen any time soon? Thanks in advance, vaheel

Nothing has changed as yet although there are always rumblings! The refreshment set-up doing BBQ sandwiches and suchlike is doing fine, the restaurant in Sapphire Village still has runners on the beach taking orders and everything seems to be rolling along very nicely.

A big obstacle has been removed. My guess, and it's only a guess, is not "soon", but maybe within a year.

The beach rumor (remember this is a rumor) is that all of the information required to settle this mess has gone to the judge who needs to rule on it. Down here it may take a year or two for the judge to rule. Once this is done then they move forward.

We all look to getting this settled. What a waste of a once beautiful location with lots of intertainment and food. How I miss the pool bar.
