St. Thomas – St. John Ferry Updates
February 3rd, 2018: Starting February 8th, 2018 Passenger Ferry Service between Red Hook, St. Thomas and Cruz Bay, St. John will increase hours and operate every hour on the hour until 10:00 pm from both locations. New non-resident rate for the passenger ferry between Red Hook and Cruz Bay is now $8.15 one way. This increase began on January 25th and will continue for one year.
November 24th, 2017: Extended hours for passenger ferry service between St. Thomas and St. John. New additional hours as of Sunday the 26th of November 2017.
Leaving Cruz Bay - every hour on the hour from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. With the last trip from Cruz Bay at 7:30 p.m.
Leaving Red Hook - at 6:30 and 7:30 a.m., then every hour on the hour until 8:00 p.m.
October 17th, 2017: There is passenger ferry service between St. Thomas and St. John. And there is car barge service as well. Both are on limited post-hurricane schedules. Please see Virgin Islands Ferry Schedules for more information.
October 3, 2017: Post-hurricane ferry information. The St. John - St. Thomas passenger ferry is running on a special schedule. See St. John - St. Thomas Ferry Schedule for more information. All other ferries & barges are not yet operating or/are being used for emergency & relief or we have not received updates as yet. Stay Tuned.
October 2, 2017: Car barge service currently runs daily, with a variable number of trips. The schedule apparently changes daily and will for some time.
