What's the difference between the seaplane and air shuttle? Does the seaplane take off dock to dock? The airshuttle at the airport? Is it more hassle (read TSA) to get through on the airshuttle? Preferences for either one? Thanks.

There is no TSA for the air shuttle. It's like taking a bus from airport to airport. You take off and land from the Seaborne hanger at the airport.

The Seaplane location on St. Thomas is along the Charlotte Amalie harbor waterfront. And on St. Croix it is in the Christiansted harbor area toward the end of the boardwalk. So the Seaplane is town to town.

I should have been clearer. The seaplane between STT and STX does goes from harbor to harbor. The flight from STX to SJU is from airport to airport - but no TSA, no security.
