*I am trying to find a shoe store in St. Thomas that is a national chain store. I would like to buy a gift certificate in the states that someone in St. Thomas could use on the island.

Kathy: Most of the shoe stores here are small, family-owned ones. There is a Payless Shoe Store and a Foot Locker, but frankly, the Foot Locker merchandise is not up to stateside snuff- all Nike "decorator" shoes, no real running shoes. The other stateside stores are K-Mart, Office Max and Home Depot.
