I am looking into booking a six pack tour on Winifred while in the St Thomas via a Cruise in March. A couple questions:
1)Can anybody give me some feedback on this ship/captain?
2)Does the price include gratuity. If not, what is the normal expectations for gratuity so i can be prepared.

Winifred is a lovely ship. Sharon Allen is a "old salt", charming, hospitable, and will feed and water you well. Don't know who the mate is this year but you will have a very good time ... take a look at her website - i think it is www.sailwinifred.com for some reference letters, etc.
On all sails (unless specifically stated) gratuity is not included - 15% is customary if you had a good time.

Don't know about specifics but Sharon is REALLY GREAT. NO doubt at all that you will have a good time if you book with her.

Thanks for the advice! Just booked the trip for our family. I'm really hoping my daughter loves it, I know I will!
