I can get a free flight to SJU but would like to end up in STX. so I need SJU to STX.......would it be Cape Air? SEABOURNE? or a ferry? I can not seem to get an answer. This would be during late June early July

There is no ferry from PR/SJU to St Croix. There are regular American Airlines flights between the two as well as American Eagle and, yes Cape Air and Seaborne. Don't understand why you can't get an answer - google "San Juan St Croix flights" and you'll probably find a whole bunch of options. Cheers!

The flight on AA is close to $300.00 round trip.............I was not sure that was right.
SEABOURNE does not look like it leaves from SJU...
And no ferry anymore
I lived on STX 25 years ago and it use to be cheap to fly to SJU
but then again tht was 25 years ago
thanks for the info!

There are a LOT more frequent flights on Cape Air to and from SJU-STX and they are good to deal with. The planes are tiny, but I love "driving" into the islands.

curran17,

Cape Air runs around $235-$275 RT for SJU to STX. If you haven't already you can put in your dates and see what you get http://www.flycapeair.com. If you are flexible with your travel days try moving them around, say a Tues, Wed, Thur rather than on weekends.

Seaborne has relatively new airport flights but its from SJ Isla Grande Airport, not sure how close that is to the SJ International Airport to possibly take a taxi between the two and whether the flight + taxi + time would be worthwhile. If you check on this Seaborne option, post on what you find out.

You can take American or Cape Air. Seaborne doesn't leave from the airport. It's a seaplane, landing and taking off in water. It's smooth and a cool experiance. It arrives downtown Christiansted vs the airport which can be very convient. They have web @www.seaborneairlines.com

Dogs31 - check out the Seaborne website, on the first page they mention their new airshuttle Airport Service between STT and STX airports and San Juan Isla Grande Airport, PR. 🙂
