Don't go there, no one should go there and that side of the island is terrible. LOL

Okay, now that I have scared the majority of others away since I do not want any competition next time...
We love the Reef Bay area as it is less congested but close enough to Cruz for convenience. We stayed at Soft Winds this July and it is marvelous (still trying to wrap up the trip report). All the privacy you want since you are on top of Cocoloba Point. It has no A/C but unless you really need it, the sea breezes and ceiling fans more than make up in cooling you down. The drive up to the top is easy although rules of the road need to be followed (Mary-Phylis will explain). The views are fantastic. From the kitchen you look South to STX, from the Western balcony you look out to STT and from the pool deck you see the entire southern end of STJ. The house is laid out really well and the skylights throughout keep the entire house light and airy. You are already familiar with the service PH provides. As soon as we can scrape enough nickels together,we are going back to Soft Winds.

Let's just keep this as our little secret. 🙂

PM me if you need more info or pics.

Been there twice, once with one other couple and once with two other couples, one of whom occupied the down below apartment and loved it. We all loved it. Dinner on the porch overlooks St. Croix is amazing. Don't forget to put sugar in the bowl on the porch for banana quits (little yellow/black birds). It is very private and there is a place by the pool that is covered if you want to get out of the sun. We are talking about going back again. It was very well equipped for cooking, and everything was neat and tidy. A great place to stay.
