I'm really sorry that Bluwater hasn't been around lately. Last year, I really enjoyed her stories regarding her Thanksgiving prep, and the stories and tales she encouraged others to tell.

We are heading back to STT on 11/26, and reading this board in preparation just hasn't been the same. 🙁

But I am VERY thankful that the "do I need my passport?" threads have pretty much ended!!!

I remember Bluwater's Thanksgiving prep posts too. Bluwater, what are you doing for Thanksgiving this year, you got folks wanting to read about it!

Richmond how about you, what are you doing for Thanksgiving besides packing for your St. Thomas trip. 😉

We ordered our dinner from Wegmans. Yes, it's cheating, but the chances of anyone getting food poisoning are reduced greatly from that than if I were to cook! Not to mention, their food is awesome.

Ahh, one week from tonight, we'll be enjoying the warmth of STT! Can't wait. What are some places we should check out at the new harbor thingy? Nothing was opened when we were there last (Christmas week of '06).

Happy Thanksgiving all.

We'll be going to my neice and nephews house for Thanksgiving. They also have a 3 year old that's just adorable.

We bring the pies...apple and cherry and take lots of pictures. My 84 year old mother will be there and I'll be making a picture book for her off of kodak.com. Already did one for a wedding and it came out great. Everybody should check that out. Easy to do and they come out so nice.

Richmond, there are various shops at Yacht Haven Grande. You can combine it with Havensight and spend the whole day shopping! Or you can plan on having lunch there; W!kked is a good one for lunch, or have dinner. If you are not interested in shopping or dining then go have a stroll; the landscaping and view is quite nice. Check out the fancy yachts, grab some ice-cream from Ben & Jerry's and cool out.

Connie, sounds like a good time!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Give WIKKED a try. Went there twice for late lunch. It was very good and reasonable. Had a Cubano sandwich which comes with Fry's in an individual deep fry basket. Great service as well. Other rest. were not open yet. That was last Feb..

Richmond,
I too, have been missing Bluwater greatly! In fact, when I saw the title to your thread, I immediately thought of Blu! If you hadn't mentioned Blu, I would have!
I have been thinkin' back to last year, what she was planning to prepare, the china and crystal that she needed to order to make everything perfect! I have tried to e-mail her, to no availe! She has a wonderful sight, have any of you ever looked at it? www.villavantage.com She is one amazing lady!

Blu, if you happen to be lurking at all, we MISS YOU! Come home! Thanksgiving isn't right without you!

We are planning to go to Jeff's sister house, just down the hill from us. We have a villa arrival on Thanksgiving, so I was more than happy when we were invited to her house! Still planning on doing a Turkey on Friday as well!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! 🙂

Hi guys.
Richmond, thank you for thinking of me around Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday. Parents are cruising from Europe to So. America over the holiday - and I am not hosting this year. Phew! Will be going to my cousin's home - and bringing a soup. I am wishing I had planned to be away somewhere.

Sorry about missed time on the forum. I am negotiating a few high-profile contracts at work and it is all-consuming.

I check in from time to time, but mainly just read/lurk and keep up with everyone that way. Will be back once things settle down at work - next month?

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy time with your families!!
