Anyone have any info on spearfishing hot spots on STT or STJ? I know you can't go in the National Park but wondering outside of that what are the best areas? Also, anyone know of any captains that do specific spear fishing trips? Thanks in advance.
I just went for the first time a couple weeks ago and have only had the time to go again once more but I really liked it and found it to be very exhilarating. I have found some areas around St. John to be not so great, Stevens Cay and the South Side of Mingo. However, Around Congo there are lots of Yellow Tail Snapper and Cero. I was told Blunder Rocks (near Lovango) are supposed to be good too.
I haven't put together a Spear Fishing trip yet as I am not an expert having only been twice. I also only have one gun but I was thinking about adding it as an option next year on Lion In Da Sun (my charter boat business with my brother).
