Ok, so I decided on a whim to take a trip to the VI...my soul craves a little sun and sand. I am flying into STT Mon evening and need a place to crash for the night before catching the ferry to STJ...any suggestions?

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Charlotte Amalie the night before heading to STJ and found it to be reasonably priced, convenient to the shops and restaurants, and located across from the waterfront about a block from the ferry (so no need for a taxi). The rooms are decent and the pool and grounds are nice. I'd stay there again under similar circumstances.

If you look just a little further down on the forum you will find a post I made on 12/29 "one night on STT suggestion". Several people provided some great suggestions.
