We returned from St. Croix on July 9 from staying at the Sugar Beach condo. Loved it and heard on the news 1 day before that a septic pipe broke in Fredricstead and people would not be able to go into the water for at lest 3 weeks. Just for your information if you are renting in that area. There are a few resorts right there and feel for those vacationers.

Sugar Beach Condos are half an island away from Fredriksted, so I;m not sure which area you are concerned about. The area around Sugar Beach does occasionally have sewer pipe problems. If the water is unsafe to swim in, the condo will tell you.
