Hi all,
We're first time travelers to St. Croix and need to figure out the best place to stay for our honeymoon June 4-11.
We've looked at a villa, but we're walkers and would love to be able to walk to the beach and the parts of CHristiansted that include restaurants and groc. stores. Any ideas?
We're looking at the Pink Fancy BB, but are totally open to suggestions.
Any help would be much appreciated!!

The Pink Fancy would not be one of my top choices. It has been up and down managementwise and is pretty basic accommodations. There has been some remodeling of hotels on the waterfront in Cstad, check those out. Hotel on the Cay gets mixed reviews, but I would choose it over Pink Fancy. If money is no object, the best honeymoon hotel on St Croix is the Buccaneer. But one night there would put you up for a week at PF.

If you want a b&b , Villa Margarita is great, but not near anything, so a car is needed. Good luck in your search.

Were you planning on getting a car?? If so, you could have a better variety of places to stay AND you could get to the places you want to walk......

The Buccaneer is not as expensive as it might seem. You have to check out their website for off season rates. They have some nice packages that really work out well. The free, huge buffet breakfast is a big plus. You can get free nights, dining credits, free golf and more. The Mtn.View rooms are the cheapest and are of the same quality as the other rooms. It's great place and would be terrific for a honeymoon.Take the time to do a complete comparison to some of the other options. I think you will be surprised.
