I will be moving to the area working near Christansted and am seeking posting boards, local papers or places to search for housing opportunities. Anyone have any ideas or information.

You can also look in The Crucian Trader which is put out by the VI Daily News. I copied this link but usually find it by going to virginislandsdailynews.com and the Crucian Trader button is on the right side.

You titled this thread, "St. Croix house/boatsitting sought", and you should know that such opportunities are few and tend to be filled by word of mouth, usually by established long term residents.

Yep. Best you come here with enough $s to cover first, last and security rental plus WAPA deposit and island car purchase along with the insurance and registration $s. Close to $10K just for starters and that's just for basics.
