Best places to dine in STX? Fun bars or hangouts? We already plan on hanging out at Coconuts on BBQ night 😎

I'm getting excited!!

Welcome to STX in advance. Get 1st in line at the welcome booth at the baggage claim and get a nice tote bag and a tee shirt.

On the East End the best is Duggans. The whiskey lobster is wow.

Mid Island be sure to go to Salud Bistro in Princess. A food snob's haven.

Junie's in Peters rest has some great island dishes. The Conch chowder is the best

Sings on Company St is good local style food for lunch

Lorraine Chicken Shack mid Island

and on and on Bon appitite

Here are some more to consider...

Rumrunners in Christiansted is good for lunch or dinner, they may have breakfast too.

Fort Christian Brew Pub is also good for lunch or dinner, or drinks at the bar. Head there for crab races too, bet on a crab for chance to win prizes which vary from bottles of rum to sunset sails. Get there a little early to get a table outside or along the railing for a good view, have food/drinks and enjoy the fun.

Bacchus also in Christiansted.

Tutto Bene is a nice Italian restaurant.

Elizabeths at H20 - nice atmosphere, by the beach, good.

Full Moon Bar by Cane Bay is good, grab lunch there while spending some beach time at Cane Bay.

Also by a beach, if you are heading out east maybe to Point Udall or for a drive you could plan for lunch at Divi's beach side cafe, spend some time on the beach too.

Southshore is also out east. Its open a few evenings a week.

Le St Tropez in Frederiksted is a good French restaurant.

Have a great time!

One of the most wonderful things about STX (besides its natural beauty, laid-back state, lack of crowds...) is its incredible variety of dining options! You'll run out of vacation days before you've even had a chance to sample a fraction of your choices! Some of our favorites - Rumrunners for lobster quesadillas and my favoite Painkiller recipe, Lori's Deli (EastEnd - on the way to Pt Udall) for enormous sandwiches and daily specials - and you can't leave without a bakery item!, Paradise Cafe for breakfast (great fuel before a shopping spree!), Duggan's for anything lobster including a gorgeous view, Sunset Grill (west end) for a beautiful beach setting and spectacular sunsets......just to name a very few! You'll want to visit roadside stands as well for fresh fruits - we've met some wonderful people, watched a charged match of dominoes come to an end, and had some great conversations with the locals as they've recommended foods for our purchases and shared their STX tips! Have an incredible time.........
