Probably nowhere, if truth be told, and particularly if you're looking for a beach chair you can take from beach to beach as a personal item for the duration of your stay, The best comfort I've always found is to re-arrange the sand with a platform for the head and simple dugouts for top and bottom, covered with a towel. And now there are "neat sheets' which are much better than towels and are readily available online or at such places as Walmart in the US. I even saw them at Cost-U-Less on STT just last week.

Or you can purchase at your local outlet a simple fold-up beach chair or lounger which is easily transportable via the airlines. Hope this helps. Cheers!

If you are staying in a villa, check with them. Most villas have chairs, coolers etc, that can be thrown in the car and taken to the beach.

Another option is to go to K-mart and buy a couple of inexpensive chairs and them just leave them or give them away when you leave. Probably cheaper than renting.

I thought that I saw beach chairs for rent at Cinnamon Bay and Crabby's rentals. I may have been mistaken.

Neither lists beach chairs on their websites but I have seen them listed on other website links as having them. Use the URL's below to get a contact number or e-mail

I went to make sure I was telling the truth and forgot to come back here.

Trunk and Cinnamon for sure rent chairs. I have seen people rent them there.

I heard Maho did as well, but I've never seen that with my own eyes.

It'd probably be cheaper to buy them somewhere there and leave them for the next person, assuming that your villa doesn't provide them. Most do!

What we did was buy Kelsys backpack chairs and pack them with us to go. We bring them to every beach here on St. John, as there is NO shade anywhere!!

Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay rents chairs for $5/day. Most days you don't have to wear umbrellas as you can relax underneath the trees that line the beaches.
