My husband and I go to St. John every summer and have always gone sometime in late July through late August. This year we are considering a trip in (possibly early) June.

How is St. John different in June vs. late July through late August? Is it more crowded in June? Is the weather about the same, or is it less humid in June?

Thanks in advance for any input 🙂

Hello TeresaRae

We go in June to avoid the start of Hurricane season and any chance of bad weather. Can't really tell a difference between the 3 months personally. Crowds are about the same although STJ festival is through the month of June culminating on July 4th. Most celebrations/events are weekend affairs and certainly worth attending. My favorite is the Steel Pan competition.

In my opinion, the island is less crowded in late July and August than it is in June. I'd prefer to be here in late July for that reason.
