I was looking and frequent flier flights just for fun and it turns out I can get to St. T for 10 bucks from here.

My wife was telling one of our assistants that I was thinking about a quick return trip to St John and she said:

"Please make him do it. It is like a year's worth of Valium for him"

🙂 Ric

So true! Man I miss home. I grew up in town on STT but when my father retired, we built a new house out near Smith Bay. Being out there, the sun rises were so nice and it was SOOO quite. I couldn't believe how different one part of the island was from the other. Now imagine a vacationer from the states!

That's awesome! If I can get my doctor to prescribe 4 visits per year as treatement for my high blood pressure, can I deduct them from my taxes? 😛

Took me a year, but I made it!

Four of us flew from two airports. 60 bucks TOTAL to STT. Do not hate me. I love FF miles. 🙂

Cost us more from STT to St John with taxi and ferry than from Tennessee to St Thomas.

We make at least 2 trips to STT a year on FF miles. I can't convince the kids that we aren't rich, they don't understand FF miles.

Every time i make another business trip my wife asks "Where are you going now?" My reply is always "Working our way to STJ." FF miles are not what they used to be but when you can use them the right way you have to love them.

That is so true. I will leave my xanax home next visit and just go heavy on the Larry's visits. lol But no, in all honestly St. John has a way of just calming down the minds and a real relaxing feel. When we first arrive were all tense and up tight because of running to catch flights, stress about packing enough stuff and checking email, texting but once there you just kinda forget about all that and don't care if you have a computer, cell phone and don't want to head back to your busy life style. Cant wait to come back. Hubby said it will be in 3 years for our 25th. Anniversary and I said maybe for you but Im heading back next year. I'll send a snail mail post card.
