Had yet another great trip to the islands. Landed in STT at around 2pm on the 3/23, sitting on the deck of our villa with a cold drink at 4pm. Cooked a steak and relaxed the night we arrived.

3/24 = Had a great breakfst and headed to Cinnman and Trunk for the day. Hit La Tappa for dinner (a must try) then drinks at various establishments then back up the mountain to the villa.
3/25 = Shopping and lunch at the Beach Bar (Tuna and seaweed salad)...then off to Hawknest for beach time.
3/26 = Our last couple arrives and we hit Waterfront Bistro for drinks then onto Morgan's Mango for dinner.....service was a little slow but the food was really good.
3/27 = Booked Big Blue Charters (30ft Cat Power boat) for the day. It was a little rough, but we hit Foxy's, JVD, etc.....don't remember much after that.
3/28 = Hit Hawknest again in the morning and Maho during the day.......just relaxed and snorkeled a bit

Stayed in Sapphire Breeze (villa in between Great Cruz Bay and Choclate Hole) ..amazing views, but the villa is a tad run down and the ride up to it from Cruz Bay is hair raising to say the least.

Fully recharged and planning to return in the next 12 months.

jwterry3, i love to hear about efficient arrivals. that's what everyone wants - to land and be in a restful state as quickly as possible. i find that when that arrival is not smooth it can adversely color the entire trip and even the impression of the lodgings or service personnel.

your honest assessment of your villa does not seem to have affected your stay one bit, glad you had a good time exploring the island!

i've never been to morgan's mango, and there is no excuse for this. i shall have to try it next time i am on st. john.
