Down a narrow steep hiking trail and I'm guessing (it has been a while since I walked from the upper trail) about 20 minutes maybe a bit more coming back up

Sounds like you'll need to wear good shoes and take water, sunscreen.
Lots of beaches accessible by car, if you're not into a hike.

Check out the local bus service. We had rented a car but talked with tourists using the bus and they said it was cheap and good.

The bus service is getting a better rep these days, but not really going to help you from Estate Lindholm. 🙁

We took it to Salt pond one day for the hike to Rams Head. I was fun. Caught it on Centerline at the Cinnamon Bay trail, and returned from the stop at Concordia. Nice adventure.
