*My cruise ship will be in port till 11 p.m on Tuesday night - Are the shops open late for the cruise ship passengers? What nightlife is available in St. Thomas? What time does Mountain Top close? We were hoping to see the sunset - is that possible?

To see the sunset - go up to Paradise Point (right near the cruise ships-have a taxi take you up there-some will wait for you to take you elsewhere later) have a frozen Bushwacker & enjoy! Then you head for downtown - eat outside at Fagoli's (Italian) and head for the Green House for drinks and entertainment (not sure what time that starts thought). Both of these places are on the waterfront. You could also come back to Shipwreck Tavern (at Al Cohen Mall-across from Havensight). Have fun!

The Shipwreck is currently closed for renovations. Paradise Point is THE place to be for a sunset. I'm sure the Sky Ride will be open late that evening, for the late-staying ship passengers, so a taxi is not a must. You can just ride up and down. Be careful with the Bushwackers, though! They taste like a milkeshake...but they aren't! A "virgin" bushwacker is just a glass of ice! Haha! Have fun!

Hello ez,

The shops in Havensight, if that is where you are docked, might stay open a little later then usual if there are ships in late. But not until 11pm... just maybe an hour or two later than usual. Usual being around 5pm.

Mountain Top closes in the early afternoon.

Paradise Point, is a good spot for watching sunset. They usually have live music on Tuesday evenings for happy hour. http://www.paradisepointtramway.com
