Hi there! I will be visiting St Thomas in 2 weeks and was told that kmart has great values for gifts! first of all, is this true?! and, if so... how far is it to get to kmart from our ship? is it within walking distance? if it isnt, what is the best route to get there? bus? taxi? thanks so much!

It is within walking distance, just walk up the road that is across the street from Wendys, and it up there about 1/8 mile and its a good place to buy liquor, and some cheapo souveneir trinkets. You won't fnd anything too unique, but it has the basics like magnets, cards, tshirts, mugs.

We were just in St. Thomas two weeks ago and found that Kmart has the cheapest price on Cruzan Rum on the Island! $6.29 for the 1.5 liter. Everywhere else was at least $1-2 more. We were laughed at in the Airport because our carry on boxes of Duty Free liquor were plastered with Kmart!
