I am going to St thomas at the end of september and will be staying at point pleasant and was looking for some of the less known beaches or scenic areas I do not want to miss while I am there, any suggestions would be great.
thanks

HI Todd,

Be sure to check out the beaches section on this website.

Don't know quite how "out of the way" you want to get. Some easy beaches to get to that don't get the tourist crowd as much are Brewer's next to the UVI campus and Hull, just past Magens. A bit more secluded are the next two down from Hull; Dorothea & Neltjeberg.....you'll find the further out you go though, the more difficult it is to find the roads down to those places. If you go with a group, try Lindquist near Sapphire. And if you are really energetic, head out to the far west end of the island and make the hike to get to Botany.......so far it's still remote and pristine and gets very few visitors.
