I am heading down to St. John in early November to plan my upcoming wedding there next year. We are staying at Maho Bay camps (which I love!) for several days on St. John, but then have one night to stay in St. Thomas before our flight. The only place i have stayed on St. Thomas is Point Pleasant, which was ok, but would like to see something else. I think we will spend time going to Magens Bay and then dinner and that is about it, wont have much time, but would like someplace with a water view and not too expensive. Any suggestions? I keep reading reviews at different travel sites and there are so many mixed reviews that I am getting annoyed! Help please if you can. Looking forward to being back on the island...:-)

The Emerald Beach Resort would be a good choice for one night. Located on the airport road it's on a lovely beach and not expensive.

Mafolie would also be worth the price.

Crystal Palace would be another way to go.
