Many, many places...depends on the particular day as to where there will be someone playing...Check the "Live Action" section in the Island Trader, which, for some reason is not available on-line right now, but can usually be found in a link on the www.virginislandsdailynews.com site...it's just not there right now...dunno why. I happen to have this week's Trader...what night, or what area, are you looking for? I'll check and post for ya...

Um, you'll hear one person playing maybe two steel drums with recorded soundtracks. I know Best Western Emerald Beach has steel pan music on Fri nites with their West Indian buffet. Agave Terrace has a player, too, I think on Fridays. Aben Marrero (sp?) is highly recommended.

Andrew Douglas plays at Secret Harbour on Fridays nights. I think he plays Thursdays at Ainsley's, and a couple of other spots on other days... On Wednesday night they have a big Caribbean party at Bolongo.

Marty - the Snooze has decided not to put the Trader online any more, alleging that advertisers just weren't willing to pay extra. A real shame IMHO as many visitors used it prior to coming here to find out what was "happening" during their vacation. Oh well ...

Andrew Douglas is also at Indigo on Monday nights, and on Wednesday at Wyndham Sugar Bay's Mangrove restaurant..

If you want to see and hear some serious pan music check out the "Rising Stars" - one of our best Vi musical talents - you can learn more and read about them - including video and music - at www.visuperiorcourt.org and click on 'rising stars' on the left menu. This is a sponsored youth orchestra and they are among the most amazing sounds of the VI. Contact them and see if there is a place they are playing while you are here or even attend one of their practices which are incredible.
