Any news on the two restaurants and bars reopening at the Elysian any time soon? I will be there mid October.

Any information would be appreciated.

We were there 2 weeks ago and heard that the restaurant group that owns the "Blue" restaurants I.e.Coco Blue could be new owners.

The "East End Boys" have apparently bid (as have others) but rumor is that there are issues with the lease terms and, to the best of my knowledge, nothing has as yet been settled.

STTRes, are the "east end boys" the group that owns Islandtime and a couple of other restaurants in Red Hook?

As long as they're good cooks and serve up good drinks, I don't care. Also, must have their stuff together by July 2012 when we return. Man, that sounds like forever, doesn't it?????
