I don't think you can really do Virgin Gorda on a day trip from St. Croix, if that's what you're asking. You can definitely get there from St. Croix via St. Thomas.

It can be done but not easily.

Seabourne Airlines flies from St Croix to Roadtown Tortola everyday.

You can get a ferry from Roadtown to Virgin Gorda and a taxi to the baths.

The logistics sound way too busy for me and might not even come together. But, if you have the money and the need I guess it could be done.

Seaborne does not fly to Tortola from St. Croix. They have a program where you can buy one ticket, fly from St. Croix to St. Thomas and take the Road Town Fast Ferry to Tortola. Unless you charter a plane, it makes no sense to even attempt a day trip to Virgin Gorda.
