I've been doing some research but can use some help. Can anyone recommend the best BVI and/or USVI day charter. We want to go to the Baths as well as Soggy dollar bar. We're a couple in our mid to late thirties coming to St. Thomas in late February. Can anyone give us suggestions regarding restaurants and things to do.

Any help is much appreciated!

Morning star charters is very good. I have not taken their boat to the baths or jost but have done several dinner cruises. You will have to check with each company to determine if they go to those locations. www.interlinesail.com does do an overnight to Jost and the soggy dollar. Morning star does a speed boat to the Baths. You will probably have to do 2 trips (they are in the BVI) unless you take the ferry over and stay in Tortola and do the inter islan ferries. That is what we have done. The Jolly Roger down from the West End Ferry is a great location. Take the ferry to WE in and stay at JR, take the afternoon ferry to Jost and then go back to JR, Take the ferry to Virgin Gorda to spend a day at the Baths and then head back to Tortolla for a second night and then ferry back to STT the next day. That was an itinerary that we used and loved it. The JR is faboulous, not fancy at all, but adequate.

If you charger BorntoRhumb, they will pick you up at 8 and take you out for the day to both the Baths and Soggy Dollar Bar and basically do whatever itinerary you want.

We used Lion in Da Sun. Had a great day. Call and talk to Josh or Matt 340-626-4783. We are hoping to use them again this year. They will take you where ever you want to go.

Things to do... Beach hop, you can check the beach guide for St. Thomas on this site, top of this page, select St. Thomas and then from the drop down Beach Guide. Snorkel, some of the beaches with good from shore snorkeling include Coki, Sapphire, Secret Harbor and Cowpet. Beach-time with water sports like kayaks, paddle-boats, windsurfing; the beaches with resorts usually have a water sports booth with an assortment of water sports rental gear. If you are looking for some water sports in particular then post what is it, folks might know which beach has it. Shopping. Historical buildings downtown. Day trip to St. John, could do one of the National Park tours for example the Reef Bay guided hike. Check their website for details. Island tour, on your own if you are renting a car or by taxi. Catch some live music; Sapphire has a live band on Sunday afternoons, Paradise Point usually has live music for happy hour on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, Bolongo has a Caribbean night, other bars & restaurants have various types of entertainment too. Grab the St. Thomas/St. John This Week booklet at the baggage claim at the airport, it lists the entertainment types, times, locations.

Restaurants... looking for anything in particular; casual, fancy, romantic, Caribbean food...?
