Can anyone recommend a nice condo to stay close for about 10-12 days (middle of June) that is somewhat close to Red Hook? Also any recommendations for reasonable car rentals ? I'm looking for some good prices since the airfare to STT is around $700 now.8-)
Look at VRBO or Home Away for condo rentals. Sapphire, Point Pleasant, and Secret Harbor are all nice places on the East End, close to Red Hook. When renting a car on St Thomas I have always used Dependable. They pick you up from the airport and drop you off. Their rate is always lower. Have a wonderful time on your trip.
I agree. www.vrbo.com is the place to research. Both Dependable and Amalie always get best reviews. How many of you? I've a couple of personal recommendations to offer where Sapphire is concerned and also one at Pineapple. Cheers!
Our first ever trip to St Thomas we stayed at Point Pleasant Resort. They've got two good restraunts, amazing views and they're only a couple miles from Red Hook. We fell in love with STT after our visit to Point Pleasant.
