A group of 12 of us will be landing in St. Thomas in June. I need to make travel arrangements from the airport to Crown Bay Marina. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? How long does it take to get to Crown Bay Marina from the airport.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Use a taxi. It's a 5 minute ride. It will probably cost $5/person + luggage.

I see from your other post that you're headed to WI. You'll want to tell the taxi driver to take you to Tickles at Crown Bay. That's where the WI ferry is and also where the Gourmet Gallery grocery store is located. Sometimes they will just assume you mean the cruise ship and, while it's still a very short walk, you may not want to walk any farther then necessary when toting luggage.

The taxi vans are very large. With that many people and all their stuff (assuming you're all arriving at the same time), likely you will still need 2 taxi vans. If you ask for a private taxi just for your crew, it will cost more. So, I would recommend not asking for private taxi. You'll all get there near the same time anyway.

Taxi from the airport to Crown Bay is about 5 minutes. It's best if you have all your people and their stuff together before engaging the taxi boss (most of the time it's a man. He is usually holding a clip board and standing just outside the door). Large or small crew - in my experience the taxi boss gets a little grumpy if you engage him while still waiting for a few straggler people or pieces of luggage. Taxi's want to load quickly, get you to your destination, then get out on the road again.

There will be taxi drivers hovering around. The Taxi Boss will nod or point to one of the Drivers and then things will start moving quickly. Grab your bags and follow the driver that was assigned to you. The taxi driver will load you & your stuff into a taxi van and off you go!

Peublo Supermarket is a short distance beyond Crown Bay Marina.
While Gourmet Gallery is extremely convenient being right at the Marina itis quite pricey due to a captive audience. Pueblo's not the nicest or cleanest looking grocery store but if you are shopping for such a large group you may want to check it out as prices are more reasonable than GG.

Bring things you may need that are costly here such as spices and coffee. Sometimes I have guests bring a cooler with meats and other perishables that are frozen beforehand. Don't use dry ice in cooler tho. have a wonderful vacation.
