taxi to westin on STJ

i'm staying in cruz bay but have friends that are staying at the westin. i see on the taxi rate sheet that its $5 per person to the westin from cruz bay.. how far is it to the westin? we are not planning on renting a car and i guess i was figuring i could walk to the westin. thanks.

It wouldn't be a pleasant walk. It's not a pedestrian-friendly road. The $5 would be money well spent. I'd pay twice that to not have to walk it and consider that a good deal.

It isn't far, maybe just over a mile but Lex is right it is not a very pedestrian safe walk. You could hitch-hike it fairly easily though.
