We will be visiting St. Croix by cruiseship next Nov. I've been reading about the "wall" at Cane Beach and wondered if this would be a good choice for a day at the beach and snorkeling. We will be there on a Saturday and I wondered how crowded it might be.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Cane Bay is a very nice beach to sit and enjoy the water. But there are better snorkeling beaches. I suggest the beach at cottages by the Sea. Check with Sandcastles about a day pass to use their facilities.

"The Wall" is more for diving excursions. If you want to head east there's excellent snorkeling at the Tamarind Reef hotel beach at Green Cay. Nice casual restaurant there, too. Some of the Buck Island excursions leave from that marina, too.

Thanks for all the help guys! We have decided against Cane Beach and will probably just go to a hotel and use the facilities there.
I've e-mailed a few and I'm getting good feedback!
