Yippe, I'll be on St. John during September to celebrate my 30th Anniversary. So I decided to compile a list of some of my favorite things. Did I miss any?

Setting in front of JJ's (after exploring all day) with a cold beer in one hand and a hot conch fritter in the other, watching the cruisers hurry back to their ship and knowing I don't have to be anywhere else!

Beach side seat at the Beach Bar, feet on the wall, Rum Runner in hand and sun going down

Listening to (not just hearing) the breezes, feeling the water, watching the life of STJ and recharging the soul

This is going to be my first time on the island, and i am going for my son's wedding. I am arriving at 3:30 pm, the day before, they are getting married on the beach, then every man for themselves (this new age) so my daughter and i n(she is 20 years old) need something to do before our flight back, which leaves at 5pm.

the wedding will be over by noon. I really would like to see to do something, but i do not want to miss my flight.

Please any ideas.

newbie.

The first time I traveled to St. John was on a cruise, so I know what it's like to do St. Thomas/St. John in a hurry.

I would stick to the Northside beaches which are world class. You land fairly late in the afternoon, but it's likely that you can still get to Magan's Bay, which is a gorgeous beach on St. Thomas, or Coki Beach where the fish are fed by tourists and tend to be larger and easier to spot than on a reef on St. John

On St. John, I would try to check out the big three North shore beaches. Hawksnest, Trunk, and Maho are fantastic.

John

Stay on St. John longer. Don't leave so quickly. Spend the time on St John not on St. Thomas.
