Three Kings' Day (HOLIDAY) - Are businesses open?

Hello.

We will be staying in St. John from 12/31-1/10 and will be there during the Three Kings' Day on Saturday, 1/6. Can anyone tell me about this holiday and if the businesses in Cruz Bay or around the island will be closed?

Mary, the whole island closes down on that day...... that week even. I suggest you do not go. Instead, send me your tickets and lodging arrangements and I will do my best to give you a day to day account of what is going on on the island on your behalf. Do not waste your time. LOL!

But seriously, you will be fine. Nothing to worry about.

Local government offices will be closed. There will be a parade in St Croix, as that is when their carnival is.
