What is a common tip after a days worth of fishing and after a day of sailing/snorkeling? Thanks!

Depends on the level of service.

I first mate on some charter boats all I get payed is by tips and the use of the boat if it isn't rented owned by friend of mine. I do it because I like to fish and make people happy if I get a tip great but then again it is just for fun for me I have a 40+ hour a week job.

When I go on a fishing charter, I usually tip the Cap'n and Mate $100 for a half-day trip, with four guests....on a full day sail, I would say it depends not only on the level of service, but also on the number of guests...if it's only a 6 passenger sail, then I would say $20 p/p...but, if it's one of the bigger ones, like New Horizons or Heavenly Days, that have 20-30 passengers and 2 Mates with the Cap'n, then I would recommend $5-$10 p/p....these are merely guides, mind you....great service always gets a great tip, in my book...but, if it's just 'average', then the above would apply for me...
