Hi
Hope all of those who are going down to St Thomas or St John will have a great time. Though I wish I was going but I leave Sunday the 4th for our yearly trip to Disney World our second most favorite place. We hope to make it down next year but highly doubt it as we plan on taking our son & his wife to Disney next December. I know why not the islands? Well daughter in law is afarid of flying over water. Little does she know when going to Florida you fly over water. But they went with us in October to Universal Studios & she didn't know it duh? Maybe she was too much in shock. Never fly with a person who cries all the way down to Florida it like sitting next to a baby & even then the baby falls to sleep But maybe I can make a solo run like I was suppose to do in November. Well wish everyone have fun !

Thanks for your best wishes. Air travel is very interesting! Once you're up, it really doesn't matter whether you're over land or sea. The plane either stays up ---- or it doesn't. Nearly 100% of the time -- it DOES! But, it's impossible to convince the non-believers.

The other "hint" to help your "frightened flyer" is to book them in an interior seat. An isle on a smaller jet or a center seat on a larger carrier will prohibit them from ever seeing the water. Delta even shows a movie on this flight and that'll keep then occupied!

We're heading to STT in early February. Thanks for the best wishes. I hope the same for you! The islands are incredible and everyone should experience a vacation of leisure there!

Hi Vi Lover
That makes it worst for her by the window but oh well, she is the one to be missing the beauty of the USVI's. Maybe one day & to think she is talking about taking a cruise with her friends lol. Thanks for the wishes for my trip. Come February it will even colder & snow lol. Raining here now in Virginia who know what it will bring !

Barb- We (my wife and I) are taking my mother (65y.o.) and my father (70 y.o.) to STJ on Dec. 9th-16th. They have flown twice and that was 20 years ago, so we can appreciate what you are going thru. We did book Mom in the aisle seat and she has some things to keep her occupied while we are in the air. As I tried to tell her, there are no bad pilots- all of the bad ones are already gone!!!
