I will assume you want to separate snorkeling from sand & view when asking for beaches (Waterlemon is great for snorkeling but not a great beach). Not in any order of interest.

Salomon
Trunk
Hawksnest
Francis
Maho

Honorable mention
Lameshures (isolated)

We like a mix of snorkeling and just relaxing on the beach taking in the beauty of the area, so our top 5 would be:

1. Cinammon
2. Trunk
3. Maho
4. Waterlemon
5. Little Lameshur

My honorable mention would be Salt Pond but I cannot "legally" include it because we only walked past it on a hike, but would love to go back to spend the day.

For just hanging at the beach:

1. Trunk Bay (all the way to the left of the entrance)....bring a cooler full of favorite beverages and a light lunch (NO glass!)
2. Cinnamon...all the way to the right (same as above cooler etc.)
3. Jumbie (get there early for parking)
4. Salamon (nice hike down!, cooler full of extra cocktails, or for an amazing workout OR a really cool adventure due the rock scramble from the old sea plan ramp down near Mongoose Junction, pack a back pack w/ a few snacks and another back pack w/ ice and beers, by far the BEST hike/beach trip in 4 years on STJ)
5. Europa (small hike, nobody there, rocky w/ a small sandy spot, definately need water shoes of some sort as entrance to ocean is all rock.....but NOBODY there! no tan lines!)

Snorkeling:

1. Waterlemon (best ocean life you'll ever see including sea turtles and starfish)
2. Salt Pond (stay to the left along reef bay, VERY hot as there's no winds)
3. Vi's (all the way to the right around the point...bonus beach is also really nice and pretty quiet)
4. Jumbi (to the right around the reef)
5. Sorry.....don't have a fifth for snorkeling
