Tour guide/taxi service around St John

I am coming into St Thomas on a cruise ship for a day in May and want to head over to St John for the day. Can anyone recommend a company or person that would drive us around the island for a few hours (including stops for snorkeling.) Thanks

The island taxi tour is 1.5 to 2 hours and is $25 per person. If you want your own tour that allows you to stop at various beaches to snorkel along with the tour of the island you will need a private tour and I have no idea what that will cost you will have to talk to the taxi drivers when you arrive. If you don't want a tour you can taxi to Hawksnest $5.00 per person and snorkel, then taxi to Trunk or Cinnamon and snorkel (probably another $5.00 per person from Hawksnest) and then taxi back to town - $6.00 pp from Trunk and $7.00 pp from Cinnamon.
