Hello,

The ferry schedule for the BVI is on this site. Looking under getting around - ferry in any of the island guides. Or go to the home page, in the frequently asked questions area there is a link to the ferry info.,

Try http://www.newhorizonsvi.com
You will find that many of the charters go to St. John, You can try Winifred at http:www/sailwinifred.com . Or Independence (340)7751408.

Captain Nautica is a Tour of the B.V.I power boat - you can call them at (340)715-3379. Another one that does the B.V.I is Stormy Petrel and Pirates Penny at (340)7757990 - they might be a better bet for you as the before mentioned charters I am thinking might be 6 packs as many of them are - which means they had a max of 6. Stormy holds 12

Good luck and happy planning.

We just returned last week from St. Thomas and went on a daysail as well as powerboat trip to BVI. There were good and bad things, we booked Horizon I which was an enjoyable daysail which allowed two opportunities for snorkeling, opportunities to meet some fun people, drinks LOTS and have a nice lunch.

Another day we went on a powerboat trip to the BVI. It was a good although quick trip to several stops. We went to Virgin Gorda to visit the baths............wonderful opportunity although not enough time. Then off to lunch at Pusser's and then snorkeling. Stopped at Jost Van Dyke, swam into beach and then via St. John returned back to St. Thomas.

Welcome back Sharon,

The BVI trip often seems rushed, I have heard that from several people, they usually say they really enoyed it but wish for more time. I suppose considering its further away then St. John is from St. Thomas that more time is spent getting there and back so less time at the spots visitred. But the Baths are just great - would you not agree?

Glad to hear from you!!! Thanks.

Islander,

You're absolutely correct everything we saw and did was great. The trek to through the baths was fun and interesting as well as getting to the beach at the end of the tunnel. While at the Soggy Dollar Bar, I met a couple of people that were staying on the island for a month........... I was jealous. I had so many questions although they were a bit vague with the answers........something fishy in that situation.
