Is it possible to go from St John to St Croix for a day trip? Do any charters go there?

Thanks a bunch

There are no charters that take day trips.
Your only options are to fly, take the seaplane, or the ferry, if it is running.
It is a considerable distance and the ferry, when running, runs from St thomas to St Croix. It is a terrible ride and not for the weak of stomach in calm seas. You will also waste several hours getting there and back.

If you want to visit STX, I would recommend taking a few days. It is not really a day trip.

You would have to fly out of St Thomas either on Seaborne (seaplane) or Cape Air. There is an on-again off-again ferry between St Thomas and St Croix but the service is unreliable and it can be a very uncomfortable crossing over a rough expanse of water. No, no charters go there - St Croix is quite a distance from STT/STJ.
