Has anyone stayed at Two Sandals by the Sea Inn or Seahorse Studio, both on STT near Red Hook? We usually stay at Blue Beard's up on the hill in Charlotte Amalie by trading a week of our time share into there, but want to stay for three weeks next year. I've also stayed at the Galleon House in CA for a couple of nights on either end of my trip and they were super, but I'm thinking of these two places in Red Hook as I might be able to get away with not renting a car for the whole time. Coki is my favorite beach and could take the bus there if needed. The regular taxis, safaris and renting a car get expensive for only one or two people.
Hope that things have picked up there for all my friends on STT who work in the tourism industry. It sounds like it was a pretty rough fall without many tourists.

Just to let you know you will not easily be able to "take a bus" from Red Hook to Coki unless you take a bus to Kmart and the get off there and onto a bus towards Coki. That will be $1 ea bus and take about 45 min. Can be done just not convenient. They only run in one direction!! - You can come back to Red Hook from Coki on one for $1.

Thanks for info on the bus. I haven't taken it before and had heard it takes some getting used to. I'm surprised there has been no one on this board with any experience/opinions on Two Sandals or Seahorse.
