Hello everyone.

Was just wondering what ever came of the updates to the Cruz Bay park area! Last time we where there (Feb 2011) the park was closed off to people and they were doing renovations. It was kind of an ugly site with fencing barriers and not a pretty site! We'll be there this weekend and just wondering what to expect when we get off the ferry! Counting the hours til we are on island for the month!

The park is pretty much complete. It's open, and all of the 'construction' part is done, but they ran out of money and it never got landscaped. So almost all of the planter areas look pretty bare.

It's not looking like it 🙁 They don't allow the vendors in the park any longer either. When they do allow the vendors to set up, they do it in the parking lot in front of the public restrooms.

Not what I would necessarily call progress...or improvement
