What is it that you want to do on your vacation? It will be more expensive to rent a studio for a month in the winter- that's when EVERYONE wants to come to the tropics! 😉 To save money, definitely find something with a kitchen so you can cook. Look at some of the information here about what to do and how to get around. For a month, you might want to split your time- two weeks on St Croix and two weeks on St Thomas, with day trips to St John and the BVI.

Hi. I sent you a private message. But I also agree about splitting up your time some when traveling to the Virgin Islands. It really depends on what you enjoy doing. Snorkeling, hiking, sitting on the beach, diving, eating, etc?

You may want to try Airbnb. Good luck...

airBnB is the way to go.

When you are in St. Thomas be careful where you shop. The crime you are most likely to be the victim of is fraud by unscrupulous jewelers. Girdhar Motiani and his charming wife Anjali Motiani of Paradise Jewelers, 5571 Dronningens Gade, St. Thomas, conned my wife and me into buying what was represented to be opal jewelry but turned out to be plastic when the "stone" fell out of the ring within an hour of purchase. so do be very cautious.
