If you will be there on the 14th I highly recommend re-newing your wedding vows at Trunk Bay. www.re-marryyourmate.com , I saw this advertised but had no idea how cool it would be! We took the passenger ferry from STT, at the ferry dock were FREE taxis to Trunk Bay, when we arrived, as we were walking down the path to the beach, there was a gentleman playing the flute, at the beach a beautiful Lady had a microphone singing with another guy playing the steel drum! Rev. Anne-Marie Porter, a Methodist minister had a beautiful ceremony , we were presented with beautiful certificates of our vow re-newel and each lady got a long stemmed rose!!

There were island residents, family's, a beautiful woman with a scarf covering her bald head, a couple on their honeymoon, her in her wedding gown...him in shorts and tee shirt...at one very moving moment we were gazing into each others eyes, our hands on each others heart and I asked my husband what he was thinking...."about how hot it is"! oh well, coming up on 42 years this May!!!

That cracked my up!! It sounds exactly like something my DH would say (coming up on 48 in May for us). I've always wished I could do the vow renewal but we're never there for Valentine's Day. Thanks for sharing!!

This sounds like a great event. Do you know what the cost is to participate?

Thanks,
Mary Beth
