Hey all. I'm thinking of vacationing down in the Virgin Islands again, haven't been down there for almost ten years. It is still as peaceful as it used to be? Anyone been there recently?

Yes & Yes

Like any vacation, it will depend on what you want from it and what you bring to it. Do you have any specific questions on which island and what you like to do?

Actually, I had a great time scuba-ing down there once, and was looking to revisit that. I'll probably hit both St. Croix and St. Thomas, unless there's a better place for this type of fare.

Thanks!

I do not dive myself but understand both STT & STX are excellent. Make sure you look into the numerous charters as they can suggest/take you to more of the less traveled locations.

If peace is what you are looking for then STJ is the island for you...much less hustle and bustle than STT or STX. It's also accessible to many great spots to scuba.
