Good Evening!

What villa do you recommend for 6 couples on St. John? We're a tough group. We want to be within 10 -15 minutes of Cruz Bay and we want to stay under $11,000 for the week during high season. Although we may adjust our dates to low season if necessary.

We are open to two villas if necessary, but they would have to be very, very close - we all want to be together a lot.

Please help!
=)
Thanks so much,
Jayne

6 couples sounds like big crowd. I don't know of any that can fit that many on St. John.

I would check on VRBO.com. There seem to be several accommodations that fit your needs in the Cruz Bay area. I've used them several times and have always had a great experience.

12 people is a tough number to find accommocations for in the same property on STJ. Right off the top of my head I know if one villa with 6 bedrooms. Chateau Margot is a great property but the bedrooms are not equal and 2 bedrooms share the same bath. If you go to 2 houses that's more doable but then you're talking quite a bit more money total.

I'd contact several agencies on the island and see what they come up with for you. Good luck.

I see that you're considering Ocean Palm Villa. That might be a good bet for you group. I haven't been inside the home but I do know where it is and it looks really great. I don't think you can go wrong on this villa for your group. Go for it and let us know all about it when you get back.

There are 12 of us, also. We have rented Villa Paulette for next week, which is the first week of low season. I have never been there, but it looks fantastic in pictures, and has 6 BR and 6.5 BA. It would be a little over your budget in high season, but you can check it out here:

We have read glowing reviews and can hardly wait to get there and see for ourselves!

Jayne,

We had 5 couples in a villa named Ristaba, but it can easily accommodate 6 couples. It is just past the Westin on Rock Hill road. This villa has 4 bedrooms and 4 baths in the main building and two bedrooms and one bath in the cottage. All of the bedrooms have AC. It has great view of the bay and a large swimming pool which is where we spent a lot of our down time. The living area is on the second floor which allows for great views off of the large covered deck. This villa is 5 minutes from Cruz Bay. It has off street parking for two vehicles which could be an issue for 12 people.

We were very pleased with this villa and will most likely book it again on our next trip. It looks like high season (Dec 15 - April 1) rates are $12,000 plus 8% tax for the main building and cottage. Summer rates (April 1 - Dec 15) are $6,594 plus tax. We rented it through vacationvistas and worked with Lisa Durgin. She did a great job.

I haven't stayed here, just found it when doing a bit of research for a potential group trip. The villa and cottage together offer seven bedrooms.

We just got home from spending 8 days at Paulette. It worked perfect for us. Plenty of parking which many people said that most placed have limited room for cars. There were 4 bedrooms upstairs on the main floor and then 2 bedrooms downstairs in an "aparment". I do know the one bedroom did not have any closets. There is a nice pool also We paid just over $7200 for 8 days there, but it was the first week of low season. If you have any questions just email me, [email protected] and I would be glad to help.
