On our visit to STT, we will be taking a group to VG. I noticed on the map the route shown goes directly to CA. Does the ferry stop at STJ first from VG?

I think Speedy's goes VG to CA via Roadtown (Tortola) and does not stop by STJ. You will go thru customs at CA. They use
bigger boats (Cat) and the ride is smooth, AC, bar, TV....

Inter-Island goes VG to STJ and ends at Red Hook, not CA. They use smaller boats and if you sit outside, watch your hat!!

It's about a 90 min trip and well worth it.

If you go to "ferry schedule" under "Quick Links" top right this page you'll find all the info right there and see which route fits best into your schedule and where you're staying while on STT, Have fun!

Thanks, I saw the routes and they don't show a stop before getting to CA. Stopping is not a deal breaker just wonering out loud.

The CA-VG route gives arrival and departure times from those two points, nothing in between. The VG-RH/STJ schedule indicates a stop on STJ.

So, if you take the CA-VG ferry from town you won't stop on STJ. If you take the Red Hook-VG ferry you WILL stop on St John.

Sorry my question was a bit murky. We qill travel from CA to Tortola, spend the night, then onto VG for the day. Then we will leave VG the same afternoon for CA. Thanks for the info and I think I am set on how to accomplsh this now.
