Hi Everyone,
I feel as though I know some of you seeing that I have been reading the message boards for quite a few weeks now in preparation for our Maiden trip to the Islands of St. Thomas & St. John. So excited!
We (the Hubby & I) are planning on being there for 2 weeks! in early October. Our favorite time to vacation!
Any insider info would be so greatly appreciated.
We would like to rent a private villa (the only way to go!) on both islands. We will be spending our first week on St. John. Sept.28-Oct.4th, & our second week (Oct.5-10 home on the 11th) We would, like most people, like a pool & or hot tub, 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 -2 baths, a washer & dryer & of course a view!
Any suggestions? I have located a few (on St. John) that look promising. I have the names of the places if anyone is willing to share their knowledge.
I do have more questions, I'll post later...... Just thought I would post this as of now & see who is out there to help a fellow traveler.

Its on the North side of the Island so its quiet, great views and lets you get to know the island pretty good while driving to places
You are renting a car right? I would highly recommend it.

We've stayed at Perelandra on St. John a couple of times and like it very much. It has two bedrooms and everything else you mentioned. It's quite close to Cruz Bay and overlooks the town, which we like. Also has good views of St. Thomas. Some people might prefer to be farther away from town, but for us, that's a benefit.
